A better photo for a dance concept
Framing, visibility and space matter before motion even begins.

Show the whole pose
Choose a photo with both feet, hands and elbows visible. Cropped limbs leave missing information that a model may invent incorrectly.
Separate the subject
Plain backgrounds and contrasting clothes make the body outline easier to inspect. Avoid several people overlapping.
Leave room to move
Allow margin around the person, especially above the head and beside the arms. Keep a copy of the original before cropping.
Keep expectations specific
A full routine involves many pose changes. Start with one short movement and review the face, wrists, knees and foot contact. These preparation steps do not guarantee model quality.
